Lorraine Heller Ott

Lorraine Heller Ott, 87, of Delaware Water Gap, passed away Tuesday evening, June 28, at home. She was the wife of the late Randall S. Ott Sr., who died Aug. 8, 1980.

Born on March 7, 1924, in Delaware Water Gap, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Elise (Jennings) Heller and had lived in the area all of her life. She worked at the Linda Blouse Mill in East Stroudsburg.

Lorraine was of the Presbyterian faith. She loved to do crossword puzzles, gardening and sewing, and was a member of the ILGWU (International Ladies Garment Workers Union).

She is survived by two sons, Douglas Ott and his wife, Sandy, of Florida, and Randall S. Ott Jr. and his wife, Lynn, of East Bangor; two daughters, Darlene Miller and her husband, Kenneth, of East Stroudsburg and Deborah Smith and her husband, Ronald, of Delaware Water Gap; grandchildren, Scott Smith, Tammy Smith, Douglas Ott Jr., Jenise Ott, Randall Ott Jr. and Megan Statts; great-grandchildren, Brittany D'Alessio, Meela Smith, Alex Smith, Taylor Smith and Zachary Smith; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Ott; two sisters, Lovera Beers and Joyce Reisenwitz; and a brother, Robert Heller.

Private graveside services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Delaware Water Gap Cemetery.
