4 men arrested on firearms charges
WORCESTER — Four Worcester men were arrested on gun charges Thursday night after police were called to Providence Street for a report of gunshots.Witnesses said three black men and a white man had pulled up outside 60 Providence St. in a silver Buick and fired several rounds from handguns. The car then sped off. At the time of the shooting, several people were outdoors nearby, but no one was hurt.
About 10 minutes later, police were told that a 2002 Buick Century with four men inside was on nearby Arlington Street. Police caught up with the car on Heywood Street near Winthrop Street and stopped it. Detectives looking in the window said they saw a loaded handgun protruding from the front passenger floor area. SWAT members searching for additional occupants found a sawed-off shotgun in the trunk.
The Buicks occupants Michael Gustafson, 20, of 18 Rena St.; Eriah Nahnie, 19, of 66 Vernon St.; Jahmala Nelson, 19, of 107 Sterling St.; and Keith Jones, 21, of 75 Gates St. were arrested. They were charged with unlawfully carrying a firearm, unlawfully carrying a loaded firearm, possession of ammunition without an firearm identification card, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number and possession of a sawed-off shotgun.

I have no idea how to write this other than to write this so here it goes.
My Mom’s 2002 Buick Century decided to stop running smoothly the other day, it was pouring black smoke out of the tailpipe like it was going out of style. The mechanic has not yet torn down the engine to the problem but initial conversations are slight-fully hopeful to downright scary with what it could be and what the cost could be. We are going to have to commit to having it fixed (Unless God forbid it can’t ) being Mom is retired and on a fixed income and in no position to just go out and get a new car.
Mom has had 2 successful brain surgeries the past 7 months and the bills that medicare did not pick up are being handled by my sister and brother and I. Add to that my Brother and Sister in law just adopted 2 kids within the past year and I was laid off from my job in the automotive field last month this has been a challenging year to say the least. We really have no complaints being she is here and converting oxygen into carbon still and for that we thank God, but for the rest of the days she has on this planet we would like her to have as her official job watching her grand-kids and while she still can be as independent as possible with her own vehicle.
So after some prayer asking for some guidance being this is what I tend to do knowing that most things big or small I can’t handle, the memory of what occured with my friend and collegue at FTR RADIO Mr Jimmy Bise Jr popped into my brain. Jimmy had a similar thing happen last year and wrote about it over at his blog The Sundries Shack . After consulting with him and some others I trust, they encouraged me to go to the conservative internet blogsphere to ask for a helping hand. So I humbly ask if you could please put $1, $5 or $10 bill into the donation button on the side to help defray some of this cost of getting the car fixed. If you are in the same position as myself I understand ( Believe me I do) but ask if you could please spread the word via the Twitter , Facebook, blogpost or now Google +.
