I bought this for my 13 year old daughter who is interested in and, I believe, gifted in fashion design. She already has the rest of the Project Runway Design books. This one is less about thinking of your own designs than putting together existing templates creatively and cleverly using and blending colours to achieve a professional looking final product. A great tool for learning about putting things together. Templates are quite good too.

I’ve never written a review on anything before but had to for this. My 5 1/2 year old daughter LOVES this!!! She had a book fair at school and begged me to get this for her. I thought it would be too hard for her and she’d get frustrated. I caved and bought it for her and she does great with it. She asks every day if she can design. Sometimes she has friends or family members design something and she has everyone sign what they’ve made.

This allows for great creativity and fine motor skills and keeps her busy for hours!
